
The 10th in the top 10 castles / fortresses in Romania is occupied by the fortress of Suceava, Suceava.
Situated on a high plateau in the east of the city, restored in recent years, was founded by Prince Petru I Musat, first mentioned in a document from the year 1388, built of stone, was further strengthened by Stephen Sea walls over 10 m and a thickness of about 4 m.
